We are able to provide full preventative care to your pet at their home, including comprehensive physical exams, vaccination, microchipping, and collecting laboratory samples, as well as treating non-critical medical problems.
We are not able to be "on call" and are not available for emergency services or after hours. Our practice treats dogs and cats only. We do not offer services to larger farm animals such as chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and horses.
Why We're Different
A mobile veterinary service differs from the more traditional style of veterinary medicine in a variety of ways. Your pet does not have to travel in a car any distance, wait in a busy and noisy lobby, or encounter any other animals outside their family during our visit, preventing stressful situations for both you and your pet.
Additionally, you are our only client at the time of your appointment, meaning you have the doctor and her assistant's full attention. There are never any other pets, owners, or procedures to take attention away from your pet during our visit to you. This also means that you will have significantly more time with the doctor to discuss your pets' medical condition, recommended procedures, and any questions you may have.
Most traditional offices allot approximately 10-15 minutes of doctor time per pet, while our visits often last about an hour, giving you plenty of time to address any concerns you may have with the doctor. Our appointment begins with taking a detailed medical history and having a discussion about your pets' individual needs. After a comprehensive physical exam, we provide you with a treatment plan tailored to you and your pet, as well as take the time to discuss any follow up care or additional treatments your pet may need.
Estimates can be provided for all services after the examination and payment is due on the day services are performed. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted.
